He is already step-dad to his girlfriend Amy Campbell's two children from a previous relationship. They welcomed their own daughter Emmy Bell in April of last year with a new baby due in in the Spring.
After coming in 3rd place on the talent show in 2008 just behind Alexandra Burke and JLS, he went on to become a professional footballer and now sings in a wedding band called "The Housem8tes".
