The RuPaul's Drag Race star, The Vivienne, died aged 32 over the weekend, with her husband leading the tributes to the late performer.
The Vivienne, better known as James Lee Williams, won the maiden series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, as well as coming third on the 2023 edition of Dancing On Ice.
James Lee Williams adopted the drag name from their fondness for wearing Vivienne Westwood clothing.
Paying tribute to his husband, David Ludford, a wig hairstylist, shared this message via an emotional video shared on social media.
"My heart literally sank when I got the call! My heart is shattered!", Ludford said. He also said that meeting Williams "changed my life so much". The pair first met in Gran Canaria in August 2017.
"We literally clicked straight away and we knew we (were) going to be together for a long time", Ludford added. "He made me feel love and shown me what it was really like to love someone".
"We literally went through and did so much together, it was like a whirlwind and I wouldn’t have changed the time we spent together for anything in the world!".
The couple had announced their separation in April 2023, with Ludford saying that they were "still very much friends", and wished each other "the absolute best".
Meanwhile, the host of RuPaul's Drag Race host also paid tribute to The Vivienne.
"With a broken heart, I join the entire Drag Race universe in mourning the loss of The Vivienne - an incredibly talented queen and a lovely human being", he said.
Others to pay tribute include Dancing on Ice, with the show remembering The Vivienne's "unique vitality and fearless spirit" in an emotional social media post, which you can check out here.
Colin Grafton who was their dancing partner on the show, when Williams became the first drag act to reach the finale of the show, also paid homage to them.
"Viv was and is a true icon in every sense of the word, and inspired thousands of people far and wide with everything they did and accomplished", the skater said. See that post in full here.
