The image of the doll was shared by the American fashion doll and media franchise, showing the late Irish singer's signature buzz cut, black sunglasses, jeans, black platform boots, along with a shirt reading 'Jesus Is Coming' on the front.

This doll is also holding rosary beads with the Bratz logo in her right hand. Sinéad O'Connor passed away last year aged 56.

“Welcome back, Bratz Pack! Women’s Month continues with Sinéad O’Connor, an Irish singer, songwriter, and activist with a passion for 90z grunge fashion", the post reads.

It also added, “O’Connor, who passed away in 2023, first debuted her scorchin’ buzzcut in 1987 when she was just 20 years old — two years after she signed her record deal. Her debut studio album, ‘The Lion and the Cobra’, was released in 1987 and achieved international chart success!! Sinéad‘s 1990 album, ‘I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got’, was her biggest commercial success, selling over seven million copies worldwide. Its lead single, ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’, was honoured as the top world single of the year at the Billboard Music Awards alongside her iconic 90s grunge looks!”.

Fans React

As expected, the doll received plenty of reaction on social media, with actress Carmen Electra hailing the image's visual, writing "Yasss", alongside horns and love heart emojis.

“THE OUTFIT IS SCREAMING PASSION FOR FASHION", wrote another. While another fan added,  “Love this so much".

Other fans of the franchise also stated that this needs to be a real doll, with one writing, "We need this IRL". “Okay this isn’t a want. it’s a need", another wrote.

Not everybody appeared onboard with the idea.  “This is so insidious and I can’t stop thinking about it", one commented.

Another chimed in, “This is so exploitative and against everything Sinéad stood for!".

The franchise had previous turned other artists into dolls, including Britney Spears, Lana Del Rey, Normani, Tyla, and Chappell Roan.
