George Clooney has ruled out making any more romcoms.
In a recent interview with CBS' 60 Minutes, the 63 year old has stated that he will not be involved in anymore movies in the genre, saying that he is "not trying to compete with 25-year-old leading men".
Clooney continued: "Look, I’m 63 years old. I’m not trying to compete with 25-year-old leading men. That’s not my job. I’m not doing romantic films anymore".
George Clooney's most recent romcom saw him star alongside Julia Roberts in the 2022 movie, Ticket To Paradise, which grossed $168 million at the box office. The actor also famously starred alongside Michelle Pfeiffer in the 1996 romcom, One Fine Day in 1996.
At present, Clooney has switched his attention to his work on the stage, as he looks to make his Broadway debut in the historical drama, Good Night, And Good Luck on April 3.
