Harrignton will arrive at Dublin Airport alongside bronze medalist Aidan Walsh and the other remaining olympians. They are expected to arrive around lunchtime, however the public have been advised not to congregate at the airport.
Harrington will then also travel through North Dublin on an open-top bus and make her way through Portland Row, the place where she grew up.
Dublin City Council are also advising local people only to gather around the area.
The rowing teams had already touched down in Ireland 9 days ago. The women's four of Emily Hegarty, Fiona Murtagh, Eimear Lambe, and Aifric Keogh won bronze, while duo Paul O'Donovan and Fintan McCarthy secured gold.
