This comes after a video clip went viral, appearing to show Harry Styles spitting on Chris Pine during the premiere of the film 'Don't Worry Darling', starring Styles. The premiere took place at the Venice Film Festival over the weekend (September 5).
Since then, representatives for the former One Direction singer have stated that "this is not true". The incident was also denied by Chris Pine, through his representative.
“This is a ridiculous story – a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation" Chris Pine's representative said. “Just to be clear, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine. There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist".
