Brummer was found dead in his home in Sydney last weekend.
Police are not treating the actor's death as suspicious.
“About 1.30pm, officers from The Hills Police Area Command responded to reports of a concern for welfare at a home on Glenhaven Road, Glenhaven”, New South Wales Police stated.
“The body of a man was located inside the home. His death is not believed to be suspicious”.
They also added, that a “report will prepared for the information of the coroner”.
Bruce Roberts played Nick Parrish who was Brummer's on screen brother on Home and Away. He paid an emotional tribute to his colleague.
Brummer was known for playing Shane Parrish, who would go on to marry Angel Brooks who was played by Melissa George. Brummer also appeared in Neighbours, Underbelly and Winner & Losers. Between acting roles, Brummer also worked as a window cleaner. He also ran a successful business.
The official Twitter account for Neighbours also paid tribute to Brummer.
