A number of Irish stars including, Jordan Adetunji, Grian Chatten and CMAT were honoured in Forbes Magazine's latest 30 Under 30 Europe list.

This list features new talents who are "redefining industries", and "shaping the future of Europe and the world".

"Jordan Adetunji pulled off pop's ultimate flex in 2024: he wrote a viral hit about Kehlani - then got the Grammy-nominated star herself to hop on the remix. The result? A global smash that topped the UK Hip Hop/R&B charts, hit No 8 on the UK Singles Chart, and went platinum in the US", Forbes said on the list.

"By 2025, the track earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Melodic Rap Performance (alongside Beyoncé and winner Erykah Badu) and a deal with 300 Entertainment/Warner Records UK. His follow-up mixtape A Jaguar's Dream dropped that January".

"compelling"

Speaking about Grian Chatten, Forbes added: "Grian Chatten, frontman of Irish band Fontaines DC, remains one of the most compelling voices in contemporary rock".

"His band's 2020 breakthrough A Hero's Death earned Grammy, BRIT, and Ivor Novello nominations, while 2022's Skinty Fia topped both UK and Irish charts. In 2023, Chatten ventured into solo territory with Chaos for the Fly, which reached No 10 on the UK Albums Chart".

Moving onto CMAT, Forbes said this: "Irish singer-songwriter-soprano CMAT topped her home charts and hit No 25 in the UK with her sophomore record Crazymad, for Me, earning Mercury Prize and Ivor Novello nods. Her debut, If My Wife New I'd Be Dead, claimed RTÉ's Choice Music Prize, showcasing her knack for wrapping humour in sunlit melodies".

"Need proof? Look no further than her riotous 2025 Jools Holland's Hootenanny performance, where she turned breakup anthem Have Fun! into a big band celebration".

This list also included Irish writer and director, Ronan Corrigan.

"Ronan Corrigan's debut feature film, LifeHack, starring Georgie Farmer and Yasmin Finney, premiered at SXSW 2025 in the Narrative Spotlight category," said Forbes. "The screen-life thriller follows four teenage slackers attempting a multi-million-dollar Bitcoin heist", Forbes stated.

"Corrigan's previous work has been selected for both BAFTA and Oscar-qualifying festivals, and in 2022, he won the Best New Director Award at the Kinsale Sharks. He's also the winner of a Webby Award for his work with Boiler Room and earned multiple UKMVA (UK Music Video Awards) nominations for his music video direction, later directing the Coldplay video Tearjerker".

"incredible achievements"

These Irish stars all featured in Forbes's 30 Under 30 Entertainment category, which was judged by singer Sam Smith, and Derry Girls writer/creator, Lisa McGee.

"As we celebrate the tenth edition of Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe, Forbes recognises the incredible achievements of young innovators shaping the future of this region and beyond, especially during a time of rapid cultural and technological change", Alexandra York, Forbes Associate Editor said. "This year's honourees are breaking boundaries and tackling new challenges with innovation, resilience, and bold ideas".

"This milestone edition highlights both the incredible talent of today, but [also] the leaders and changemakers of tomorrow".

The Forbes list has ten categories, including Social Impact, Retail & Ecommerce, Technology, Sports & Games, Science & Healthcare, Media & Marketing, Art & Culture, Manufacturing & Industry, and Finance.
