Corden shared this news online, confirming that his Late Late Show would be off air for the next few days. He also assured fans that he feels "completely fine".
"I just tested positive for covid 19", Corden announced via Instagram. "I'm fully vaccinated, boosted and because of this am fortunate enough to say I feel completely fine".
"The show will be off the air for a few days", he added. "Stay safe everyone. All my love, James x".
Corden's positive diagnosis follows several other high profile hosts who have called off shows due to testing positive for the virus, including Whoopi Goldberg, Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers.
