The comments were made by Mr Vance in a 2021 interview with Fox News, which was recently shared via Aniston's Instagram story.
JD Vance who is Donald Trump's running mate ahead of this year's presidential election, was also one of 46 Republican senators who opposed the Right to IVF Act in June, which would have made it a federal right to have access to IVF treatment.

In the interview, Vance can be heard saying: "We're effectively run in this country... by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they've made, and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too".
JD Vance went on to name current vice president Kamala Harris, US representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg before remarking: "The entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children. How does it make sense that we've turned our country over to people who don't really have a stake in it?".
Hitting back at Vance's comments on women without children, Jennifer Aniston shared the interview on her Instagram Story, with the caption: I truly can't believe this is coming from a potential VP of The United States".
The Friends star added: "All I can say is... Mr Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too".
Jennifer Aniston had previously revealed that she had undergone IVF to try to have children when she was in her 30s and 40s. However, these attempts did not result in any pregnancies.
