However, after she filed a divorce petition from her husband earlier this week, JLo has asked to have her maiden name of Lopez restored when her divorce is made official. She wants to be known as Jennifer Lynn Lopez.
Plans for this divorce were confirmed after court documents were filed by Lopez at the LA County Superior Court in the US, bringing an end to months of speculation that the couple's marriage was on the rocks.
Back in May, reports had said that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were no longer living together, with Affleck a noticeable absentee from the Met Gala, where Lopez acted as co-chairwoman.
