The jury found in favour of Depp, who sued Ms Heard over an article which was published in the Washington Post back in 2018, where Heard accused Mr Depp of physically and sexually abusing her during their two year marriage. The couple tied the knot in 2015, before divorcing in 2017.
Mr Depp was awarded $15 million in damages, including $5 million in punitive costs.
