Kanye West has called on Sean Diddy Combs to be released from prison.
Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, as he awaits trial for sex trafficking and racketeering offences. The disgraced rapper has pleaded not guilty to all charges, denying any allegations of sexual misconduct.
He also been accused of rape by several different people at various parties across the US.
In a statement posted on X last night, Kanye West, also known as Ye, has called on US President Donald Trump to free his "hero" from prison, despite their previous feud.
In this post, Kanye West blasted celebrities for letting "our brother rot" in prison by being too scared to come forward and speak out.
"@realDonaldTrump PLEASE FREE MY BROTHER PUFF", Ye wrote. "THEY TRYNA PROVE A POINT AND YALL KNOW THAT... YALL F**KING KNOW THAT AND SITTING LAUGHING AT THE F**KING INTERNET ON INSTAGRAM THIS MAN GAVE HIS LIFE TO US THIS MY IDOL THIS MY HERO".
"PUFF WE LOVE YOU," he added. "I STOOD UP FOR PUFF AND I'M STILL WINNING 20 GRAMMIES NEXT YEAR AND DOING THE SUPERBOWL".
On top of this, Kanye West also announced a collaboration between his brand, Yeezy and Combs' label Sean John, on a new line of T shirts, raising money for the imprisoned rapper.
"I'm selling the Sean John collaboration that me and my brother spoke about before they locked him up we splitting the profits 50/50," the Stronger rapper stated, before later clarifying, "I JUST FOUND OUT THAT PUFF IS NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE OR COLLECT MONEY WHILE HE'S LOCKED UP SO I'MA SEND HIS HALF OF THE MONEY TO (his son) JUSTIN".
