Chris Melcher was due to represent him at his court hearing today but at the last minute, Samantha Spector was drafted in. He has been described as a "difficult client". Kim Kardashian has filed paperwork requesting to be declared "legally single" and says her ex-husband is causing her emotional distress but posting about their private family life on social media.
Kanye has filed his own documents saying there is no evidence to back up this accusation.
Kim said "I very much desire to be divorced. I have asked Kanye to keep our divorce private but he has not done so." She says their marriage is irreparable even though Kanye believes they'll get back together.
