The rapper appeared to hint at this, after posting a photo of a swirling symbol via Twitter earlier this week, with 'Ye' alongside the number '24'.
Following this, West also shared a video of himself, following a recent meeting between himself and the former US President Donald Trump, who had already announced that he would bid for the White House again in two years time.
"I think the thing that Trump was most perturbed about (was) me asking him to be my vice president", West said. "Trump started basically screaming at me at the table, telling me I'm going to lose," West said. "I'm like, hold on Trump, you're talking to Ye".
Kanye West had already posted that he had met Mr Trump at his home in Florida.
"Can't believe I kept President Trump waiting", West said. "What you guys think his response was when I asked him to be my running mate in 2024?".
Kanye West has come under fire this year over anti-semtitic comments he made via social media, which saw his various online accounts suspended and several high profile companys such as Adidas, and fashion house Balenciaga cutting ties with the rapper in the past few months.
