While the Martin McDonagh directed film landed the accolade for Best British Film, it's co stars Barry Keoghan and Kerry Condon scopped up the awards for best Supporting actor and actress respectively.
Accepting his award, Keoghan told the audience that he "should have planned this, really", along with thanking Ireland and his co stars. He also dedicated this award to children who live in the same area as him, Dublin, Summerhill.
Director Martin McDonagh also earned a BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay.
"I know every Irish person in the cast and crew are going 'best what?'", McDonagh told the audience after accepting his award. "Making a sad film shouldn't be so much fun".
Paying tribute to McDonagh, Kerry Condon said, "Thank you for all the parts you gave me throughout my career. You make me so proud to be an Irish woman".
Thanking her "amazing cast", Condon also paid homage to her family, along with her horses and dogs.
