Sources have suggested that the Australian popstar has two records on the way, with one of them a repackaged version of her 16th studio album, 'Tension', which became her 7th album to reach number one in the charts.
This news comes on the back of a hugely successful 2023 for Kylie Minogue, which saw her release the viral Summer hit 'Padam Padam'. This album also featured on that chart topping album 'Tension'.
Speaking about what's next for Minogue, a source told The Sun newspaper, “Kylie has made it clear to her team this is no time to slow down. Plans are already in motion for the next two albums, one of which will be a repackage of 'Tension' with additional songs. As for the direction of album 17 it’s early days — but a full-on dance album is in the works".
The source also added, "The plan is to release the Tension repackage towards the end of the year, with probably up to five new tracks".
Minogue has also been named Global Icon at the Brit Awards 2024, as well as winning a Grammy Award for Best Pop Dance Recording. She also said that she wants to embrace all opportunities that arrive her way, or she has "no hope".
"I told someone at my label: 'It’s happening now. There’s no snoozing'", she said in an interview.
Last week, the 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' singer hinted at a possible collaboration with Madonna, having joined her on stage for International Women's Days for a live performance.
Whilst on stage, Minogue told fans that she felt "amazed" for the opportunity with Madonna, adding that the collaboration had not happened yet, as they both like to “take our time”.
