Taking to Instagram, the singer shared a photo of herself wearing a T-Shirt with the words "Free Britney" written on the front. Madonna becomes the latest artist to voice their support for the pop star, alongside the likes of Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake and Halsey.

“Give this woman her life back", the Queen of Pop wrote on the caption.  "Slavery was abolished so long ago! Death to the greedy patriarchy that has been doing this to women for centuries. This is a violation of human rights! Britney we coming to get you out of jail!".

This comes as Britney Spear's request to remove her father Jamie Spears from this "abusive" conservatorship was denied by a court in LA.

Following this, Spears has reportedly enlisted a list of music stars to help her to end this conservatorship. These stars have set up a "fighting fund" to support Britney's legal battle with this conservatorship.

Since the court case, both the singer's manager Larry Rudolph and her court appointed lawyer Samuel Ingham have resigned from their posts. Rudolph had been Spears' manager for 25 years.

Along with this, Britney's father Jamie is challenging co-conservator's Jodi Montgomery's request to increase their personal security budget following reported threats of "violence and even death".

Jamie Spears' legal documents read, “If the Court grants the Ex Parte Petition, it is anticipated that Ms. Montgomery will not be the only one requesting additional protection to be paid by the Conservatorship Estate,” Jamie’s legal challenge reads".

Jodi Montgomery had reportedly requested for “24/7 live security services” this week, which is challenged by Spear's lawyers as security is set to cost $50,000 (£36,276) "for an indefinite period of time"

A court petition has also been filed by Britney Spears' mother Lynne, to allow her daughter to choose her own lawyer.
