A man has been charged with stalking Shirley Ballas between 2017 and 2023.
37 year old Kyle Shaw was charged with stalking the Strictly Come Dancing judge between 31 August 2017, and 29 November 2023, after sending her a series of online messages.
Mr Shaw appeared at South Sefton Magistrates' Court last Friday, with a spokesperson for the UK courts also confirming that he was also charged with possession of a quantity of cannabis.
The spokesperson also added that he did not enter any pleas, and was granted conditional bail ahead of his next hearing, which takes place at Liverpool Crown Court on January 31.
Shirley Ballas has been head judge on the BBC show since 2017.
