Morgan Carey, who is Mariah's older brother, says she damaged his reputation in the memoir she released last year called "The meaning of Mariah Carey". She wrote about a violent incident he had with her father that took 12 cops to break up. She also wrote about him pushing her mother against a wall.
He maintains the passages in the book are false and says he is now worried about his future ability to financially support himself as a result of these claims.
