Meghan Markle has launched her new lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan.

The series sees Markle invite famous friends to "a beautiful California estate, where she shares cooking, gardening and hosting tips", according to Netflix. Such famous friends include former Suits co star, Abigail Spencer, as well as comedian and actress, Mindy Kaling.

Ahead of the launch which was delayed due to the LA wildfires, Meghan received a bouquet of flowers from her husband, Prince Harry, and children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, featuring a handwritten letter which read: "Congratulations mumma! We love your show, and we love you!".

"thoughtful guest basket"

In the first episode, tiled Hello Hunny, Meghan Markle is with her friend Daniel Martin, as she prepares a "thoughtful guest basket".  Meghan also harvests honey from bees in this episode, where she says: "The biggest things is keeping a low tone – talk in our bee voice".

It also emerged that the former actress changed the name of her brand from American Riviera Orchard to As Ever, just a few weeks ahead of the launch, following a few trademarking setbacks.

Ahead of her launch, Markle also spoke about the "learning curve" that she went through with her series and brand, explaining that there had been "tons of twists and turns".

She also revealed that she never saw herself as a tradwife, having been previously accused of promoting the tradwife trend-short for traditional wife, adding that she prefers to present a Chinese takeaway as beautifully as possible.

"I like being able to do a hybrid but even when I get takeout, I will try to plate it beautifully," she stated.

Speaking about As Ever, Markle said of the brand: "it’s always been, and if you’ve followed me since 2014 with The Tig, you know, I’ve always loved cooking and crafting and gardening".

She said, in what was taken as a reference to the restrictions she faced as a member of the royal family: "This is what I do, and I haven’t been able to share it with you in the same way for the past few years but now I can".

The show is being seen as make or break for Markle, who signed a multi-million pound deal with Netflix in 2020.
