Billionaire sex offender Epstein was found dead in his jail cell in August 2019, having been arrested for sex trafficking the previous month.

These court documents had been previously contained in the private court documents, and created by Virginia Giuffre, who had accused Epstein and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell of alleged sex trafficking activities.

J Doe

Before these names were made public, they were included in the documents and previously referred to as variants of J Doe. It has now been revealed that one such J Doe was allegedly British Royal Family member Prince Andrew.

Maxwell had appeared to state that the royal had visited Epstein's island in the US Virgin Islands, the location where Epstein allegedly abused these young girls, adding that she was once present herself, but insisted that “there were no girls on the island at all” other than members of staff".

One of these girls who alleged that they were abused by Epstein, having been procured by Maxwell, is Joanna Sjoberg who gave a deposition, where she claimed that she met Prince Andrew at Epstein's New York home, where they engaged in a sexual encounter. Prince Andrew has also denied these claims.

Former US President Bill Clinton has also been mentioned in these documents, referred to as 'Doe 36', and mentioned 50 times. Sjoberg had claimed that she was told by Epstein about how Clinton "likes them young" regarding girls.

According to Virginia Giuffre, Bill Clinton was also present on the island, claiming that she saw him with two young woman on one occasion. Although she did not make any personal allegations against Clinton herself.

Other names mentioned in these documents also include late musician Michael Jackson, and magician David Copperfield, with Sjoberg claiming that Copperfield "did some magic tricks" at a dinner at one of the billionaire's homes.

When asked if Copperfield had ever discussed Epstein's involvement with these young women, Joanna Sjoberg replied, “He questioned me if I was aware that girls were getting paid to find other girls".

The list of names also included the late English theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking.

In December 2021, Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted of sex trafficking, and other similar charges for acquiring teenage girls for Jeffrey Epstein. The British socialite was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment in June 2022, despite maintaining her innocence throughout.
