Bridgerton fans have been offered a sneak peak in season four of the series, which promises to look at Benedict and Sophie's passionate love story, ahead of a steamy new season.
Previously unseen photos show Queen Charlotte star Golda Risheuvel, as well as new season leads Luke Thompson who plays Benedict Bridgerton and Yerin Ha, played by Sophie Baek. Showrunner Jess Brownell also features.
These photos were unveiled at an event in London, which also included moments to expect, as well as a sneak peak at the much anticipated masquerade ball, which will feature on the opening episode of the new season.
Season four will see more of the blossoming relationship between Lady Bridgerton played by Ruth Gemmell, and Lord Marcus Anderson, played by Daniel Francis, as well as the new born Featherington baby from Penelope and Colin.
New photos also showed previously announced new characters in Sophie Baek's circle, include names like Lady Araminta Gun (Katie Leung), Posy Li played by Isabella Wei, and Rosamund Li, played by Michelle Mao.
Speaking about Lady Araminta's family, showrunner Jess Brownell said: "I think in the books specifically, Araminta and Rosamund are quite villainous characters".
"They’re some of the biggest villains in the Bridgerton book, they are still villains absolutely in our show, but I think there’s a difference between meeting a character on the page versus seeing them embodied by an actor like Katie or Michelle", she continued.
"And so it was really important to us to humanise those characters, and understand why are they villains? Why are they making decisions that we might not agree with?
"Katie and Michelle bring such humanity and vulnerability to those roles", she added. "So while you might not agree with all of their choices, I think we will certainly understand them as people".
Bromwell added that season four would be and "upstairs, downstairs" dynamic, with fans set to see more of the characters who work for rich families.
"I think the most exciting part of this is that we have these fantastic actors, who have had smaller roles over the years, and so we’re getting a chance to go downstairs, meet new characters, see new sets", she added. "And you really learn a lot about the upstairs characters from their downstairs characters".
"So this is in Bridgerton House, and is one of our fantastic sets, and you know, in Bridgerton House, even the downstairs is beautiful and kind of like a dream, I would 100% live downstairs".
Other sneak peaks include photos shows both Sophie and Benedict's costumes, including masks and gloves, along with photos from the scene where the pair of lovers met.
Elsewhere, Luke Thompson's character Benedict Thompson will be a key focus in this series. Despite the fact that his older and younger brothers are happily married, Benedict is not so keen to settle down, until he meets a Lady in Silver at his mother's masquerade ball.
