Netflix have confirmed that spy thriller Black Doves will turn for a second series.
The thriller, stars Keira Knightly and Ben Whislaw, as well as Happy Valley's Sarah Lancashire, Andrew Buchan, Andrew Kodji, Sam Troughton, Adam Silver and Gabrielle Creevy.
Season one of Black Doves, saw Keira Knightly play Helen Webb, a devoted wife, mother and professional spy who has passed on the secrets of her politician husband for 10 years to the organisation which employs her, the Black Doves.
Following the assassination of her lover Jason, Webb embarks on a mission with Champagne-drinking, assassin Sam Young played by Whishaw.
Season two is set against the backdrop of London at Christmas, as Webb and Young uncover a major conspiracy, linking London to a huge geopolitical crisis.
Previewing the upcoming series, Netflix shared a video, with the caption: "Black Doves Season 2 is coming, darlings".
The video which you can check out below, shows Knightly and Whishaw meeting at a bar full of Christmas decorations.
The video also shows Knightly greeting Whishaw with "Merry Christmas", to which she replies with "Hello darling", before kissing her on the cheek.
As they toast a glass of Champagne each, Knightly says: "Here’s to Black Doves season one", before Whishaw adds: "Don’t forget season two, darling".
They then unwrap presents containing what appear to be bullets. After staring at them, the pair then drop them into their full glasses of fizz. Check out the video for yourselves here.
