Kevin McCallister’s house from everyone’s favourite Christmas comedy caper, Home Alone, is ready to play host to some lucky guests. In celebration of the upcoming release of Home Sweet Home Alone, Kevin’s older brother Buzz will host an overnight stay at the family's Chicago home
The house will soon be available for bookings through Airbnb of a four-guests stay in the Winnetka home on December 12th. Guests can enjoy their very own pizza party in the kitchen from scenes recorded 30 years ago. Play through a night of games with Buzz and munch down on ‘90s junk food, all for the reasonable price of $25 (around €22).
Devin Ratray (Buzz) said, “you may not remember me as particularly accommodating but, I've grown up, and I'd be happy to share my family home—my pizza, even—with you this holiday season. Just try not to let my tarantula, Axl, loose this time.”
The four lucky people will also receive a LEGO Ideas Home Alone kit to remember their time at the McAllister residence.
“We may all be older and wiser now, but we're never too old for holiday hijinks,” Buzz adds. “So, this year, spend the holidays not-so-home-alone at my parents' house.”
For those who would like to spend this Christmas in this infamous family home can book from Tuesday, December 7th at 1 pm CT (7pm Ireland) at airbnb.com/homealone. Travel is not included in the price.
The travel company is also set to make a generous donation to Chicago's La Rabida Children's Hospital, which is dedicated to maintaining and improving the quality of life for each of its patients with complex conditions, disabilities, and chronic illness.
