In the trailer which you can see below, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex address their relationship with the Prince and Princess of Wales, and subsequent break down of communication between them.
“I wasn’t being thrown to the wolves, I was being fed to the wolves", Meghan Markle can be heard saying in the clip.
“They were happy to lie to protect my brother (William)", Harry alleges. “They were never willing to tell the truth to protect us".
It remains unclear as to who Harry is referring to as "they".
Elsewhere in the trailer, Prince Harry can be heard saying, “I wonder what would’ve happened to us had we not got out when we did".
“Our security was being pulled. Everyone in the world knew where we were", Meghan added.
Her husband also says, “I said, ‘We need to get out of here’".
Clips of the couple's wedding in 2018, also feature alongside news footage and newpaper headlines about the pair.
“It gave us a chance to create that home we always wanted", Meghan can be heard saying.
Harry adds, “I’ve always felt as though this was a fight worth fighting for,” as photographs and video footage of him and his family are shown".
The trailer was released amid the fallout from the first three episodes of the Netflix documentary.
