The gender of the new Peppa Pig baby has been revealed, ahead of a cinema experience showing preparations for the new arrival.
Celebrating the arrival, the Battersea Power Station chimneys in London, will be lit up in pink to show Mummy Pig expecting her baby girl, who will be shown on screen to viewers in the autumn. The power station, is supporting the charity, NCT, (National Children's Trust), which is the UK's leading charity for pregnancy and parents.
The show had confirmed that viewers will meet the new arrival in a new format called, Peppa Meets The Baby, which hits the screens on May 30.
The animated show, which sees Peppa Pig living with Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig, as well as their other child, two year old George, first confirmed Mummy Pig's pregnancy back in February, with the character's voice, Morwenna Banks, saying she was "completely delighted" about this new arrival.
"I'm excited to share that our family is getting even bigger because we're having another baby", she told ITV's Good Morning Britain. "I'm due in the summer, and we're all so excited".
