Pierce Brosnan is to star as a crime boss in a new drama coming to Paramount+, directed by Guy Ritchie.
The crime drama, which remains untitled at the time of writing, will feature two crime families, based in London, whose business interests take them all over the world, as well as an incredibly loyal fixer charged with protecting them at all costs.
Pierce Brosnan will play the head of a very successful Irish crime family, Conrad Harrigan, opposite Maeve Harrigan, who will played by Hellen Mirren.
Elsewhere, British actor Tom Hardy will play Harry Da Souza, who works for Conrad Harrigan as a professional conciliator.
"Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren are masters at their craft and we are honoured to have them lead the cast for Guy Ritchie's new global, original series", Chris McCarthy, Co-Chief Executive of Paramount Global said.
The as-yet-untitled series will launch in 2025, produced by Paramount+ in association with Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.
Production for this series has already started in London.
