Goldsmith who is appearing on the ITV show, has said that Kate is getting the "best care in the world", but declined to elaborate further due to a "code of etiquette".
Earlier this year, the Princess of Wales underwent abdominal surgery, and was absent from several royal duties, leading to huge speculation on social media regarding her health.
In footage shown in Wednesday's episode of Celebrity Big Brother, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu asked Goldsmith, "Where's Kate?".
"Because she doesn't want to talk about... The last thing I'm going to do is... there's a kind of code of etiquette. If it's announced, I'll give you an opinion", Goldsmith replied. "I spoke to her mum, my sister, she's getting the best care in the world".
He also added, "And all the family's done is put the wagons round and look after family first before anything else. They put a statement out and just said 'she's taking some time to recoup and will see you in Easter'".
When asked if he would like to see his niece return to public engagements soon, Goldsmith said, "She'll be back, of course she will".
The Princess of Wales was also photographed for the first time since her medical procedure on Monday afternoon.
