The show which is titled Tarantino Live: Fox Force Five & the Tyranny of Evil Men, will celebrate iconic moments and songs which featured in the legendary director's films.
Such films include Once Upon A Time In Hollywood's 'You Keep Me Hangin On', as well as 'Stuck In The Middle With You', which featured in Reservoir Dogs, with other films mentioned including Django Unchained and Pulp Fiction.
Tarantino Live: Fox Force Five & the Tyranny of Evil Men, was created by Shane Scheel and For the Record producer Anderson Davis. The stage show will take place at Hammersmith’s Riverside Studios on June 6, and run for 10 weeks until August 13.
It has been reportedly inspired by the director's restoration of two cinemas in LA, with Hammersmith's Riverside Studio's set to be turned into “an old abandoned film palace".
“[It’s] like you’re stepping into the mind of a famous Hollywood director", Davis said in a recent interview. ”It’s very, if I may say so, a very fucked up world".
The producer continued, “You’re going on little tangents left and right, but you’re following the Tarantino cinematic universe from beginning to end. Quentin mashed up movies and we’re doing the same thing to him. We’re mashing up his films with the music from his films".
While he may not be producing the show himself as he finds the idea of producing a show about you "very strange", Quentin Tarantino has reportedly struck a “deal for his IP”, regarding its production.
Tickets for the show will be available from next Tuesday (April 25).
