The 80s singer who is renowned for his hit 'Never Gonna Give You Up', had already stunned fans with a cover of Harry Styles 'As It Was', as well as showcasing his drumming skills on a cover of AC/DC 'Highway To Hell' on Saturday.

"I've had many dreams in my life. One of my dreams has been to perform at Glastonbury that dream has come true today", Astley told the fans on Saturday. "Maybe even possibly bigger... is for me to play drums to the first record that I learned to play the drums to".

Astley of course treated fans to 'Never Gonna Give You Up', before later joining Blossoms on stage to cover a string of hits from The Smiths.

The singer joined forces with the band to cover such hits including, 'Panic', 'What Difference Does It Make?', and 'Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now'.

Many people were stunned by this collaboration, with one fan even calling it "pure magic".

"Rick Astley and Blossoms covering The Smiths is something I had no idea was possible and no clue I needed in my life, but I feel a much better person for it. That was awesome #Glastonbury23", one wrote.

Another chimned in with, "something about rick astley and blossoms forming a supergroup to purely cover the smiths songs scratches an itch in my brain" and @olimccoole said: "Rick Astley & Blossoms doing the songs of The Smiths at Glasto, f****** incredible, what a matchup they are".

"Saw Rick Astley & Blossoms covering The Smiths at Albert Hall a couple of years ago and it's genuinely up there with one of the best gigs I've been too. Hope they do another mini tour after the reception their Glastonbury set received", another added.
