Robbie Williams’ biopic, Better Man, has received a Golden Globe nomination for best original song.
The trailer for this film, which sees former Take That singer Williams depicted as a CGI monkey, was released back in October. Williams earned the nomination for best original song for the track 'Forbidden Road' taken from the film.
'Better Man' is to hit Irish cinema screens on December 26, and will cover Williams' hugely successful career as a solo artist after leaving Take That in 1995.
“Maybe I’m never satisfied / I made a lot of poor decisions / Yeah I’ve made some revisions / And I’m still tryna get it right / I’m a living contradiction / The cure and the affliction,” Williams sings. “You need to lose your mind / To get back to the light / Sometimes".
The track will also feature Williams' 'Better Man' soundtrack album on Columbia Records, which can be pre ordered here.

Last month, Robbie Williams also revealed what his former Take That bandmate Gary Barlow had to say on the biopic. More on this from Ireland's Classic Hits Radio here.
