Paul Cattermole died aged 46 back in April, two months after the band had announced that they were reuniting for a major tour. The tour will see the band take in shows across Ireland and the UK, marking their 25th anniversary.

Sharing their latest news via Instagram, S Club revealed that this tour would go ahead as planned following Cattermole's death. However, the tour will take place without member Hannah Spearitt.

They have also renamed it the 'Good Times Tour' in honour of the late Paul Cattermole, who sang lead vocals for them.

In the video where the five members are visibly emotional, Jon Lee said, “You’ve probably noticed that there’s only five of us here today, and although Hannah will always be part of S Club 7 she won’t be joining us on this tour".

Lee also added, “We wish her all the best for the future. However, the five of us are really excited and geared up".

“It’s just really sad, it’s really really hard to process it right now,” said Tina Barrett, while Bradley McIntosh admited that the band were still in “disbelief” about losing their “big brother”, adding: “No one could ever replace our Paul, but he lives on inside each and every one of us".

“He’s always going to be with us. He was such a big part of this tour, so involved in everything that we are planning", Rachel Stevens also said. “And we are just going to keep his memory alive and share it with all of you and it’s going to make it even more special".

Calling him a "really special person", Jo O'Meara added that Cattermole would simply light up a room “with humour and love”.
