The actress spoke about her favourite foods with British chef Ruth Rogers on her 'Ruthie's Table 4' podcast.
“Yes - pork chops. We use Kerrygold butter. Anyone know Kerrygold butter?", Parker asked. Ruth Rogers who also owns the Michelin-starred Italian restaurant The River Café in Hammersmith, London, replied, "we all do".
Explaining the recipe for enjoying the Irish brand, Parker added, “So, I use Kerrygold butter and just a touch of olive oil so the butter doesn't burn. There's so much unsalted butter in London, it's kind of hard to find the salted".
"You can taste all the fat, you can smell the fat. Put them in the pan with olive oil and salt and pepper and ah - heaven", she continued. "We are crazy about potatoes and butter".
Several followers agreed with Sarah Jessica Parker's comments online, with one user writing “Good old Irish butter the best".
"It’s not butter unless it’s Kerrygold", added another.
Kerrygold even remarked, “And just like that…We’re still SJP’s favourite butter".
Last year, Sarah Jessica Parker who played Carrie Bradshaw in the popular series Sex and the City, said that she has a "source" where she gets her Irish food when she is based in New York, and her family spends a lot of time trying to put together dishes sampled during their regular trips to Ireland.
