Sharon Osbourne has admitted that her "biggest mistake" was turning down the chance for her husband Ozzy to audition for 'Pirates Of The Caribbean'.
Sharon made this revelation while speaking with musician Billy Corgan on his recently launched podcast, The Magnificent Others, where she asked him if he wanted to know, “The biggest mistake I ever made for Ozzy” to which he responded: “Of course! You’re going to admit to a mistake?”.
It was at this point that Sharon, who is also Ozzy's manager, revealed: “He got offered to go and read for Pirates Of The Caribbean, and I’ve never said this to anyone, and I said no. Now wouldn’t he have been perfect?”.
Podcast host, Corgan replied with: “He would have been perfect! Maybe it’s not too late, but God bless".
The Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise saw Johnny Depp star as Captain Jack Sparrow, as well as Geoffrey Rush as Captain Hector Barbossa, Kevin McNally as Joshamee Gibbs, as well as Orlando Bloom as Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan, portrayed by Kiera Knightly.
Notable rockstars Keith Richards and Paul McCartney, also featured in the movies, with Richards playing Sparrow's father Captain Teague in Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End and Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Meanwhile, Paul McCartney played Captain Jack Sparrow's uncle in the films, Uncle Jack, featuring in Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, where he can be spotted in one scene singing 'Maggie Mae' to the crew from a jail cell.
