The singer will release the track in this format for the first time, in light of the track's recent renaissance following its appearance in the film Saltburn, starring Barry Keoghan.
'Murder On The Dancefloor' will be available on a limited edition red 7", while there will also be limited red CD single. Both will be released via Polydor/Universal on February 16.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor also released a 'Murder On The Dancefloor' EP to streaming services. The EP contains 7 tracks, including its original B-side 'Never Let You Down', as well as remixes of 'Dancefloor' from Dann D, Hq, Jewels & Stone and Twin Murder.
This is the first time that these tracks have been made available to streaming services, having been originally released in 2001.
'Murder On The Dancefloor' featured on Sophie Ellis-Bextor's debut album 'Read My Lips' in 2001. The track reached Number Two in the UK singles chart at the time, becoming a pop cult classic.
The tune returned to the charts two weeks ago, following the release of Saltburn, currently standing at Number 2, as well as hitting the Billboard 100 US chart for the first time.
