Her manager Kyle Fritz, confirmed yesterday that the US actress had died from a rare form of T-cell lymphoma in Santa Monica, California.
"Patti was my first client when I began over 30 years ago," Fritz told the PA news agency. "We enjoyed every day we got to work together, and I will miss her spirit, talent and tenacity but most of all her friendship."
Born in Gardena, California in 1953, Yasutake’s career in television began in 1985 as she appeared in the show ‘T.J Hooker’.

Yasutake’s final TV role would be one of the most high-profile of her career as she starred in the Netflix drama ‘Beef’ as mother and widow Fumi Nakai. The show follows the story of two individuals who got in a road rage accident that starts a life-changing and chaotic feud.
The show went on to win the Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award for Best Television Limited Series.
