Spotify announced this on their social media accounts, writing, “Queen behaviour. On August 29, Taylor Swift became the first female artist in Spotify history to reach 100 million monthly listeners".
This was announced as Swift continues her Eras Tour, which saw the 'Love Story' singer play four shows in Mexico recently.
The US popstar had recently achieved more number one albums than any other female artist, with her latest release Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), becoming her 12th number one album, as well as debuting at number one in the US on the Billboard 200.
