This comes as Hurricane Milton crashed into the Florida coast from Wednesday night, leading to furious winds and life threatening storms. It has also lead to most flights between Dublin and Florida being cancelled.
The latest storm also comes following the damage and devastation caused by Hurricane Helene a few weeks ago.
Taylor Swift has offered $5 million to Feeding America, with the charity also urging others to "join Taylor if you’re able by donating".
In light of Taylor Swift's generous donation, chief executive of Feeding America, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, released this statement on social media.
"We're incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift for her generous $5 million donation to Hurricanes Helene and Milton relief efforts", she said. "This contribution will help communities rebuild and recover, providing essential food, clean water, and supplies to people affected by these devastating storms.
"Together, we can make a real impact in supporting families as they navigate the challenges ahead", she added.
"Thank you, Taylor, for standing with us in the movement to end hunger and for helping communities in need".
This also comes as Dolly Parton also donated $1 million to the Mountain Ways Fondation, for immediate resistance to Hurricane Helene flood victims.
