Former One Direction singer Liam Payne was remembered at this year's Grammy Awards.

The singer who tragically died last October aged 31, was mentioned during the 'In Memoriam' segment of the ceremony, which honours those from the music industry who passed away in the last year.

During this segment, clips of Payne performing with One Direction were shown, as well as an image of the late singer smiling.

Payne was one of several musicians who were remembered at this segment, including original Jackson 5 member, Tito Jackson, brother of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, American actor and singer Kris Kristofferson, as well as American singer Wayne Osmond.

This segment also saw Coldplay singer Chris Martin sing, 'All My Love' while the montage of clips and images was being shown, with many fans hailing this as a "beautiful" tribute.

"I love and miss him so much. Rest in peace angel", one user wrote on X. Another added: "I’m so glad they gave him his moment and listed him as a singer, songwriter, and member of one direction".

Liam Payne died after falling from a third floor balcony in Argentina last month. He was 31 years old.  One Direction said they were 'completely devastated' by his passing.
