Tributes Pour In For The Late Wanted Singer Tom Parker

Tom Parker was part of the British pop group The Wanted who had a string of hits including Gold Forever, Chasing The Sun and All Time Low. 

The singer had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour back in 2020. His death was confirmed yesterday by his wife Kelsey who said that she was heartbroken. 

Since the news of Parker's death was confirmed, a host of tributes have been paid to the late singer.

Former Take That singer Howard Donald sent his condolensces to Tom's wife Kelsey and their two children Aurelia aged two and Bodhi who was born last year.

"So young and so sad. RIP @TomParker from @thewanted. Strength and love to his family", he tweeted.

Ed Sheeran also posted a message on social media in Parker's honour. 

The singer/songwriter wrote, "So sad to hear of Tom's passing. Thoughts and love are with Kelsey, his children and his family. Very sad day, what a lovely guy".

"He was so full of life and humour, and the memories I have of him with stay with me forever. Sending my thoughts out to his family and his brothers in The Wanted", former One Direction singer Liam Payne added.

Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp who also starred as Steve Owen in soap EastEnders, also paid tribute to Tom Parker via Twitter. 

 "Tom Parker, rest in peace my love goes out to all your family and all your friends.. your bravery, your fight and your spirit will never be forgotten", Kemp wrote. Kemp had himself suffered brain tumour in the 1990s. 

Union J singer JJ Hamblett hailed Tom Parker as "an incredible artist and real family man". 

"Just seen the news...I am speechless!!!", he tweeted. "Tom Parker was such a nice guy who was an incredible artist and real family man!". 

"Such a cruel, cruel world... RIP Tom.. you will be missed but never never forgotten".
