Last night Hermitage Green enjoyed a singsong with Hollywood actor Paul Rudd at a Dublin pub ahead of their show at the 3Olympia Theatre.
The band were enjoying a pint of Guinness at Ryan's Pub, where they bumped into Rudd, before handing him a glass of Poitín.
The pair then treated the regulars of Ryan's to a singsong, singing 'The Parting Glass'. Check out this moment for yourselves here.
Explaining this meeting, Hermitage Green's Dan Murphy said this: “We had just finished sound check in The 3Olympia so we nipped out to Ryan's pub for a quick pint. Paul Rudd was in there having a quiet drink with a friend. Next thing we knew we were arm in arm with him singing songs, and there was a bottle of poitín being passed around. It must have been a bewildering experience for Paul but he seemed to enjoy the madness of it all - he's a really lovely fella!”.
